That's right, the SIS file creation is very complicated Python code. For Jar, you can simply copy the CAB version - very easy.

Hi, this is very good tutorial to convert swf to other filetype. i have look at the source code and it seems like to change the way to create SIS is tough and all depends by the Phyton code. if i wanna create the jar or jad file is only change the function createCAB(). Am i right.

That's right, these source files are the template for the end CAB. All of the code necessary to make the changes is available, you could even host the player on your own site.

Hi,
I saw it's written in pure AS
I also saw it uses raw files located in src\assets\templates\winmo5
These files are the same used in AMP which means the cab won't install FL in 2012, no ?

Hi William, the purpose of the application is to demonstrate what's possible with Flash Builder and AIR. The CAB Packager is actually written in pure Actionscript in this version, which is of course why it can run on a Mac.

Hi Mark,

I was so happy to see a 'new' CAB packager....but it seems it's still the same one used in Adobe Mobile Packager, with FL3.1 install supported up to 2011.
can you confirm this ?

thanks

Hi Saji,

You will want to pull down the source agin, I screwed something up. You should note that the Python Wrap.app needs to be built on Lepoard 10.5 because the Python version on Lepoard is not forwards compatible with Snow Leopard :-)
