iPhones in the UK

There are 1.76m iPhones living in the UK, three of them are mine. Not one of them can watch videos at www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer (a optimized iPhone experience exists, but is restricted to WIFI and non-browser playback).

That’s 18% of the volume of iPhones in the whole of the US.

That’s all :-)

You do not need to download any additional software to Click to Play (stream) programmes.

Indeed, but this is restricted to non-browser playback over WIFI only. Devices with Flash Player 10.1 in the browser will make it possible to avoid such restrictive experiences.

Remember it’s against UK law to watch BBC content without paying a TV license fee.

    :P

That only applies to watching programmes as they are broadcast.
