Hi Jade, Because of some operator contracts Nokia have to remove the automatic update features, which is always annoying. Our Distributable Player was designed to focus on devices that didn’t have this feature, and so adding support for the 5800 and others will not happen.

You should speak to your operator to see if they have updates planned, and encourage them to do so.

I’m a little bit confused, that I can’t normally install flash lite 3.1 on my phone. I created an 3.1 project, and now I wanted to test on 5800. The problem, that in hungarian localization of 5800 doesn’t contain software updateter. I installed flash lite distributed player, but it seems that doesnt support touch screen. Can I download the normal flash lite 3.1 on my phone? Maybe flash lite distrubuted player should have touch screen support?

The Flash Lite 3.1 installer is for standalone applications only, it cannot be used for web browsing I’m afraid.

hey i’ve updated my phone n evn install flashlite 3.1,bt it seem nt functioning…cause i try browsing other online streaming site…there a flash 9 icon in the middle..may i know wat goin on???

As soon as i open a webpage with flash content i get a blue screen with in the middle the flash logo with a 9, but no link to update my flash player..

firmware = v 21.0.025

Can’t find the software updater in my phone.

This is because the sites uses as3 in Flash, currently that doesn't work on a phone. We are working on it though for later in the year.
