is it only NVIDIA GPU?
         </blockquote>

The Tegra line of processors are more than simply GPUs, NIVIDA will work on enabling Flash to run better on their platform for mobile devices, netbooks etc.

ARM, Intel and others are working on acceleration of Flash on their platforms also.

          “NVIDIA announced that it has joined the Open Screen Project taking on the task of GPU acceleration of the Flash Player across the range of like the NVIDIA Tegra™” So does this mean they are working on a way for the flash player to properly talk to the host computers GPU? Meaning we are very close to flash player being able to handle some rather intense rendering, like 3D o.O? Is that what it is saying! o.o…
         </blockquote>

Hi Joseph,

We have been working on hardware acceleration on GPUs for two years, our mobile runtimes today already support some acceleration features using OpenVG 1.1. This helps us reduce the load of the CPU while screen sizes for mobile devices continue to grow.

As the hardware becomes available we will see bigger benefits on battery drain and CPU usage using Open GL ES 2.0 which supports better acceleration of vectors.
